Car Engine
The heart of your vehicle
The combustion engine is used to transform the chemical energy of a fuel explosion into mechanical energy capable of moving our vehicle. For this, various interconnected subsystems are used in perfect harmony, which are mainly responsible for transforming the linear mechanical energy of the piston into rotating mechanical energy.
Broadly speaking: the engine block is where the combustion chamber cylinders are located and the engine cylinder head is responsible for sealing them (it is like a lid) and housing the engine injection. At the bottom we have the pistons and connecting rods that are responsible for preparing and receiving the energy from the explosion and the crankshaft, which converts that energy into rotation.
Between the engine block and the cylinder head is the cylinder head gasket, a flexible piece prepared to withstand extremely high temperatures and which is responsible for joining both parts in the most perfect and hermetically possible way. A failure in this part implies a change of the same and a complete overhaul of the engine, which can even lead to a rectification of the engine cylinders. One of the most common indications that the gasket has a scream is white smoke from the exhaust.
If we do not take care of the temperature of the engine, surely the cylinder head gasket is the one who ends up paying for it. Engine oil and coolant are essential. It is important to carry out periodic checks and oil changes.
This is one of the most classic examples of engine failure, but it is certainly not the only one: leaks, dirt in the combustion chambers, spark plug failures, EGR valve problems, starter motor failure …
At Talleres Tot Nivell we have the necessary experience to tackle these critical repairs and our workshop in El Arenal has the optimal equipment to carry them out.
