Valvetrain Kit
Operation in perfect sync
When people talk about valvetrain, they normally only think of the timing belt, but the truth is that parts such as pulleys, tensioners and the water pump are part of the valvetrain. The valvetrain regulates the intake of air and fuel and the output of burnt gases from the engine cylinders. The timing is driven by the movement of the crankshaft and transfers said movement to the camshaft so that it in turn opens the valves in perfect synchronization with the pistons.
Not only is it a base system of the combustion engine, but a broken timing belt can lead to other high-severity damage. We can even find breaks in the combustion chamber and the crankshaft. Belt maintenance is remarkably easy and many owners are already very familiar with this part. Other parts, such as tensioners, are not taken into account until it is late.
Come to our workshop in El Arenal to have the timing belt checked, especially if the belt is visibly worn or you hear knocking when driving. We will change it and make sure that the fasteners are correctly adjusted.
